My Life, Education, and Goals
I was born the first child of five in the small town of Silverhill. As a child, I grew up being focused on God, family, and friends. I take pride in the way I was raised, because it has turned me into the person I am today. I graduated 12 of 249 from Robertsdale High School. I was on the cross-country, track, and tennis team. I was a member of the National Honor Society, FBLA, and Mu Alpha Theta. I received a Presidential Scholarship at Faulkner State Community College where I graduated with my Associate of Science Degree in General Studies. My second year at Faulkner I played on the tennis team. I was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the Pow-wow Leadership Society, and was the Secretary for SGA. I am now at University of South Alabama working on my Bachelor Degree in Physical Education. Sports have always played a major role in my life, which is one of the reasons I chose physical education as my career choice. I realize that the job market is scarce for a position at the time, but I know my heart is set on physical education. In life one thing I have learned from the past is that if I really want something I should go for it. I do not let the fear of striking out keep me from playing the game.
